ULTRArace, in collaboration with UK Gear, are thrilled to offer one lucky runner the opportunity to compete for FREE in one of the newest events in the renowned ULTRArace calendar – the 2011 ULTRArace PEAKS challenge!

Plus, the winner will also receive a pair of the world's FIRST running shoes built to survive 1,000 miles – UK Gear's PT-1000's.

On the 21st August 2011, Derbyshire's scenic Peak District will play host to the ULTRArace PEAKS marathon and a half challenge. The testing 40 mile trail starts in Cromford Meadows with a climb to Middleton Top. The route then gradually flattens out and begins a decline passing through Tissington, Fenny Bentley and Ashbourne. It then continues through Osmaston and Markeaton Park before reaching the Race Finish at Fitness First, Derby.
