Building shoes in connection with the British Army Physical Training Corps, UK Gear brings its progress to the States with PT-03, a comfortable, well-cushioned all-surface running shoe. The uppers of the PT-03 are a fine choice for those with high-volume feet.

The NRG Reactor Pads under the forefoot are there for energy return during toe-off while the NRG Impact Pads in the heel are for cushioning.

The heel also integrates U-Heel, an anatomically shaped design to protect against Achilles tendonitis.

All of that heel technology seems to have combined to raise the rear of the shoe more than normal, to make for bit of a forward slant, enough so that one tester felt his stride was altered.

The dual density EVA worked to give the shoe substantial motion control, especially in combination with a Polyurethane support bridge between the fore and rear outsole and medical support plates for torsional support.
