Developed in conjunction with the Army Physical Training Corps, these are serious winter running shoes.

The sole and tread will cope with most surfaces, both on and off road, although they are better suited to trails than thick mud. They have a tough fully waterproof upper without the mesh of some running shoes, yet they’re by no means heavy, and offer a well cushioned responsive ride with plenty of support and stability. Those with narrow feet may find the fit a little on the broad side, but overall it’s pretty spot on.
With an optimum temperature range of -20c to + 10c these are strictly winter shoes, designed to perform best in super cold conditions; those looking for more of an all rounder might want to take a look at some of the other shoes in the company’s PT-03 range.

UK Gear produces a companion to the PT-03 WINTER, the PT-03 DESERT, which will excite many runners with Marathon des Sables aspirations, claiming as it does, to be sandproof. Great specialist kit, available to men’s women’s fits.
